This week’s image was taken by Oxfordshire-based social and animal photographer, John Waine. It was captured on Hayling Island in February as John was shooting a friend’s family pets. These two little mischief-makers, both rescue dogs, were enjoying a good run on this cold February day. John’s friend rescues animals and he’d agreed to shoot some of them, which included rabbits too, to create lovely memoirs to have on the wall – John was having framed prints and an album made with us. The power of creating and printing such memories hit home as, two weeks later, one of the rabbits he was photographing unfortunately died.
John is another photographer who benefitted from coming through the Aspire Photography Training School (http://www.aspirephotographytraining.co.uk/) on one of their animal photography workshops with Andrea Denniss.
This was captured on a Canon EOS 5D Mark III and the Canon 100-400mm L f/5.6.
